Please Check Out Cheshire

If you’re already planning an Easter or Summer of family fun then, look no further than Cheshire. You’ll find something for everyone. Whether you’re traveling with children or not, there is so much to do and you won’t want to miss a thing.

If water is your passion then be sure to visit the Anderton Boat Lift, perched on the banks of the River Weaver, it looks like a huge spider and towers three storeys high. You can learn more about the waterways at the National Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port and also try to fit in The Lion Salt Works which is Britain’s newest heritage attraction.  These kinds of buildings have a Property inspection app sourced from sites including https://propertyinspect.com to look after all the work that is being done inside by taking pictures and recording all in the files.

Traveling with little ones needn’t be difficult as there’s a lot to keep them entertained too. Visit the Gulliver’s World Resort for fun rides, attractions and family shows. The site also includes Splashzone, an indoor water play factory so you don’t even need to worry about the weather.

Cheshire Outdoors is a great spot for some action adventure. There are a huge range of activities on offer from segway to laser clay shooting, falconry and archery. The site is a combination of businesses which focus on bushcraft, falconry and segway so offers a brilliant opportunity to try something you’ve never experienced before and get out and about in the fresh air.

There are some stunning gardens in Cheshire if you prefer something a little calmer for your day out. The award winning Ness Botanic Gardens overlooks the Dee Estuary and has an amazing collection of azaleas and rhododendrons, the finest in the Northwest. Trentham Gardens is another option which offers beautiful views with its perennial plants bloom all through the different seasons.

Enjoying nature can also be achieved with a visit to Delamere Forest which is Cheshire’s largest area of woodland. Get away from it all and find some wonderful peace and tranquility amid the trees. Let the kids run around and let off some steam and see if they can spot some of the unique wildlife here. This includes the woodpecker, butterflies, dragonflies and the black-headed gulls of Blakemere Lake.

If getting the adrenaline pumping is more your thing then head to Tatton Park in Knutsford for the 300ft bungee jump. The jump takes place on selected dates over a picturesque lake and before you take the huge leap of faith, you have a short time to truly appreciate the vista of 1000 acres of deer park.

For a touch of culture, be sure to visit the Clonter Opera Theatre in Congleton. This attraction gives the opportunity to entertain friends or a loved one to an intimate theatre experience of operatic and jazz productions. The theatre has 400 seats, a bar, free parking and formal dining options or an indoor picnic area! It is also set in stunning surroundings of lawns and bluebell woods. Definitely worth a visit.
